MATRIX
The practice-based research presented in this online archive set out to bring different ways of knowing and being into proximity, with a view to to enacting spaces of common interest and, later, enacting modes of commoning towards the production of a shared or common resource.
Acts of collective and embodied meaning-making took place across the work, supported by a set of strategies and infrastructures - material, conceptual, aesthetical and relational - that were put in place for that purpose.

The practice-based research in its entirety was supported by a relational infrastructure made up of people, institutions, events and cultural spaces. It was through that matrix that Free*Space and The Laboratory of Common Interest took shape. That matrix is mapped as a dynamic graph that can be viewed here [click and drag nodes, or double-click for info].
